Rummage Sale

Our rummage sale is an annual fundraiser for St. Mary’s School. Ten percent of the proceeds are donated to Plowshares.

Daily Schedule

Thursday – Student Shopping Day
All classes attend the rummage sale during the day. Students may purchase items and have them gift wrapped.

Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Open to the Public
Students are allowed to visit the rummage sale with a teacher or parent.

Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Open to the Public

Donating Guidelines

Please place donated items on the auditorium stage, not in front of the stage as the auditorium is still being used.

We do not accept skis, computer items or car seats.

Donation of gift bags, wrapping paper, ribbon and gift boxes are welcome for the Kid’s Sales. Also, we need paper and plastic bags from grocery stores to use for “bagging.”

Family Volunteers – We Need Your Help!

Set up begins the Sunday before the rummage sale begins on Thursday. We need strong volunteers to help lift and set up tables and racks.

Set up and organization of items continues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We need volunteers to sort and organize items.

We need volunteers to work during the rummage sale on Thursday through Sunday, tidying up, reorganizing items and staffing the cash register table.

After the close of the rummage sale on Sunday, we need volunteers to help with clean up, and a couple of trucks to drop off unsold items to Goodwill. We need strong volunteers to help fold tables and put them away.

Bake Sale

We need volunteers to bake holiday goodies, such as fudge, toffee, cookies, brownies, cakes, and pies, to sell during the rummage sale.

We need donations of hot-chocolate mix, cider, Styrofoam cups, and holiday-themed napkins and small paper plates.

We also need volunteers to staff the bake sale table during the rummage sale.
