Kid's Club

St. Mary's Extended-Day School Program

Open from 7:20 A.M until 5:30 P.M. each school day including minimum days. The Kids' Club provides professional care, supervision, recreation, arts and crafts, cooking , gardening and other enrichment activities. The Kids' Club is a quality after-school child care program which offers a safe, resourceful and stimulating environment for children enrolled at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic School in grades Kindergarten through Eighth.

St. Mary's Kids' Club is designed to complement the child's home and to be a supplement to the school. The program is planned to meet the individual child developmental needs; to be a place for the child to develop skills, form friends, discover hobbies; experience accomplishments, and build a sense of self-worth. Through group interaction, community field trips, and peer support, the Kids' Club provides an opportunity for the child to become comfortable in the broader community.

This program allows children to experience a rich diversity of growth activities planned to complement the philosophy and value systems of the school and family. Arts and crafts projects, gardening, cooking, games and recreation, are just a few of the growth activities planned. Also, there is a space set aside for children who need to complete their homework.

The Kids' Club is staffed by an experienced Director, by enthusiastic aides, and caring and supportive parents. These people work together to help each child grow in maturity and self-respect, as well as to maintain an atmosphere wherein respect and understanding for each other is realized.

Fee and Rate Schedule

Registration Fee per child $10.00
Hourly Rate $3.00

Sessions

AM Session 7:20 A.M. - 11:15 A.M.
PM Session 11:15 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
*A.M. Session includes breakfast.

Kids' Club is entirely financed by monthly fees, paid after services are rendered. Regular and prompt payment will ensure the continuation of personnel and the provisions of ample supplies, equipment, and snacks.

It is only common courtesy to respect the time of closure. A substantial fee will be assessed for late pick-ups if the Director ascertains that a late pick-up, or a history of late pick-ups, occurs without justifiable cause. If a child is not picked up by promptly, the Director will contact those persons on the child emergency form to pick up the child

Kids' Club Fees and "Pick-Ups"

  1. Payments not received by the fifth of each month will result in the child's temporary exclusion from the program.
  2. Students must be signed out by an adult when leaving the program at the end of the day.
  3. Kids' Club closes at 5:30 pm. A penalty of $5 for each minute after 5:30 pm will
    be added to the daily charge if student is not picked up by that time.
  4. Student must be registered in the Kids' Club in order to use the program.
