Carnival
Join us for the St. Mary’s Family Carnival on Sunday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic School in Ukiah.
This fun-filled community event is open to everyone and includes:
- Food Trucks
- Inflatable Obstacle Course
- Bounce Houses
- Dunk Tank
- Carnival Games
- Lawn Games
- Student Musical Performances
- Class Projects Auction
At 1:30 p.m., enjoy children’s musical performances and our class project auction, featuring special projects created by St. Mary’s students.
Bring the whole family and enjoy a wonderful day of fun, community, and school spirit.
Admission is free. Wristbands will be available for purchase for games and attractions.
Wristband Pricing: St. Mary’s Students: $10 per child. Public: $15 per child
Event Details
- Date: Sunday, May 31
- Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., musical performances and auction begin at 11:30 a.m.
- Location: St. Mary of the Angels Catholic School
- Address: 991 S. Dora St., Ukiah
- Entrances: Families are encouraged to use the double gates in the back parking lot as the main Carnival entrance. The school’s main entrance on Dora Street will also be open.
- Accessible Parking: Available in the back parking lot. The entire row closest to the field on the west side will be reserved for accessible parking only.
Student Musical Performances Schedule
One of the biggest highlights of Carnival is our student musical performances!
Our students have been working hard to prepare, and we can’t wait for families, friends, grandparents, parishioners, and community members to see them shine on stage.
These performances are always one of the most special parts of Carnival — a chance to celebrate our students’ hard work, confidence, creativity, and school spirit.
Updated performance times:
Grades 3–5: 11:20 AM–12:00 PM
Grades K–2: 12:00 PM–12:40 PM
Grades 6–8: 12:40 PM–1:20 PM
Class Projects
We are also excited to share that our Class Project Auction will now be a silent auction, giving families more time to browse, bid, and support these incredible student-created projects throughout the day.
Each class has been working on a special project, and this year’s lineup is full of one-of-a-kind items, creative keepsakes, and backyard favorites your family will love. These projects are more than auction items — they are special pieces created with love, teamwork, and the spirit of our students.

1st Grade: Herb Garden with Solar Fountain
2nd Grade: Redwood Picnic Bench
3rd Grade: Spring Planter Box with Wind Chimes
4th Grade: “Who Done It?” Murder Mystery Experience
5th Grade: Ultimate Playset Backyard Package
6th Grade: Fire Pit with Backyard Fun Accessories
7th Grade: Wheelbarrow with Garden Goodies
8th Grade: Chicken Coop with Chicks
From garden pieces and outdoor entertaining favorites to sweet keepsakes and family fun, there is truly something for everyone. These projects are a wonderful way to support our school while taking home something meaningful, useful, and completely unique.
