Volunteer Required Training

All volunteers, including drivers on field trips, coaches, and classroom helpers must complete the two following requirements.

1. Complete the Live Scan fingerprinting process. This service is available through:

2. Mandated Reporter

Directions:

If you already have an account from the previous year school:

Go to www.virtus.org

On the left hand side of the screen you will see a blue box labeled “I Need Login Help” click this.

In the middle of the page you will see “Password Reset” and underneath a space to type in your username or email.

Type in your info and press “Go”.  From there you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

If you do not know your username or email address associated with your account there is also a spot that you can type in your name, city and zip to find your account.  Once you have created a new password and logged in you will see that there is 1 module assigned to you to complete.  It is similar to the previous training.  It lasts about an hour and does not need to be completed in one sitting (auto saves your place in the training).  Once your training is completed I will receive a notification that you are cleared for the next year to volunteer.  Fingerprints only need to be completed once.

New parents:

Pick up Live Scan fingerprinting form from Front Office and complete

Go to www.virtus.org

On the left hand side there is a green box labeled”First-Time Registrant” click this

Click “Begin the Registration Process”

In the drop-down select “Santa Rosa (Diocese)” then “Select”

It will ask if you’ve previously registered, click “No”

Then it will make you create a Username and Password.  Once logged in you will see 1 module assigned to you.  Complete at your convenience and it will need to be renewed in 1 year.
